Privacy Policy: Best Info Lab

Published October 21, 2020

Effective date: October 16, 2026

Introduction and Scope

Best Info Lab (“Best Info Lab,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent website that publishes articles about AI tools, SaaS software, digital services, hosting and VPS providers, software comparisons, pricing, promotional deals, tutorials, and technology news.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect when you visit bestinfolab.com, how we use it, who else may handle it, and what choices you have. It applies to this website only. It does not apply to third-party websites, merchants, or services that we link to.

We try to collect as little personal information as a working editorial website needs. We do not sell your personal information in exchange for money.

Who Operates Best Info Lab

Best Info Lab is operated independently by Muzahidul Islam from Bangladesh. It is not a registered corporation or company.

You can reach us at muzahid@bestinfolab.com or through our contact page.

Although many of our readers are in the United States and other countries, the website is operated from Bangladesh. Your information may therefore be handled in Bangladesh, as well as in other countries where our service providers operate.

Information We Collect

The information we handle falls into a few categories.

Information you give us

If you write to us through a contact form or by email, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, your email address, and the content of your message. Please do not include sensitive information in your messages, such as payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or health details. We do not need them.

If a newsletter subscription is available on the site, we receive the email address you submit, along with a record of your subscription and any unsubscribe request.

Technical information

Like most websites, our hosting environment and software may automatically record technical information when you visit. This can include your IP address, the date and time of your request, the pages you request, your browser and device type, the page that referred you, and security-related events such as repeated failed login attempts. We use this information to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Analytics information

We may use website analytics to understand which articles are read, how visitors find us, and which device types they use. Analytics tools can collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, referral source, browser and device details, and online identifiers. See “Analytics and Website Measurement” below.

Affiliate interaction information

When you click an affiliate link, we may record that the click took place, along with the link used and the page it came from. After you leave our site, the merchant, affiliate network, or program operator may collect its own information under its own privacy policy. See “Affiliate Links, Referrals and Third-Party Merchants.”

What we do not collect

We do not ask for payment card details, bank information, government identification numbers, biometric data, or precise GPS location. We do not sell products to you directly. Purchases take place on third-party websites.

How We Collect Information

We collect information in three ways:

  • Directly from you, when you submit a form, send an email, or contact us.
  • Automatically, through our web server, WordPress software, security tools, and cookies or similar technologies.
  • From service providers that help us run, secure, and measure the website, such as hosting and analytics providers.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and secure the website.
  • Respond to your messages and requests.
  • Send newsletter emails you have asked to receive, if a newsletter is available.
  • Understand which content is useful and improve our articles and site experience.
  • Measure whether affiliate links are working, and keep records connected to affiliate programs.
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate spam, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Meet legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not use your information to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, serve comparable purposes.

Depending on how the site is configured at the time of your visit, the following types may be in use:

  • Essential cookies. WordPress and its plugins may set cookies needed for basic functions such as security, logins for site administrators, and form operation. The site cannot work properly without them.
  • Preference cookies. These may remember choices you make while using the site.
  • Analytics cookies. If analytics is active, these help us measure how the site is used.
  • Third-party cookies. If you follow an affiliate link or view embedded third-party content, the other party may set its own cookies. We do not control them.

Analytics and Website Measurement

We may use Google Analytics to measure website traffic and usage. When it is active, Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers to collect information about how visitors use the site, which Google processes under its own terms and privacy policy.

We use this information in aggregate to understand readership and improve the site. We do not use analytics to identify you personally.

You can limit analytics tracking through your browser settings, through browser privacy features, or by using the opt-out tools Google makes available. See “Cookie Preferences and Browser Controls.”

Contact Forms and Communications

Our contact forms are built with Fluent Forms. When you submit a form, the information you enter is delivered to us by email and may also be stored within our WordPress website’s database so that we can read and respond to your message.

We use your message and contact details only to respond to you, to keep a reasonable record of the correspondence, and to handle follow-up or abuse issues. We do not use contact-form messages to build marketing lists. If you write to us by email, our email provider also handles your message.

Email Newsletters and Subscription Management

If we offer a newsletter, we may use a third-party email service, such as systeme.io, to collect subscriber email addresses and send messages. That provider would process your email address and subscription information on our behalf and under its own terms.

You will only receive newsletter emails if you subscribe. Every newsletter email should include an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you by contacting us. Unsubscribing stops future newsletters, though we may keep a minimal record that you unsubscribed so that we do not email you again by mistake.

Affiliate Links, Referrals and Third-Party Merchants

Best Info Lab earns commissions from some of the products and services we write about. Some links on the site are affiliate links. If you follow one and later make a purchase or sign up, we may be paid at no extra cost to you. Our Affiliate Disclosure explains this in detail, and our Editorial Policy explains how we approach our content.

Some affiliate links use redirect URLs on our own site, such as addresses beginning with /visit/, managed by a link-management tool called BetterLinks. When you click one of these, our site may record the click and then send you on to the merchant. This helps us keep links working and understand which content readers find useful.

Once you reach a merchant or affiliate network, that party’s own cookies, tracking, and privacy practices apply. They may use cookies or other technologies to attribute a purchase or signup to our referral. Affiliate programs, including Amazon Associates where we participate, may use cookies or similar tracking technologies. We do not receive your payment details or the personal information you give a merchant when you buy something. Please read each merchant’s privacy policy before sharing personal information with it.

AI-Assisted Editorial Tools and RSS News Processing

We may use software tools, including AI-assisted tools, to help gather public news feeds and prepare draft articles. A person reviews and is responsible for what we publish.

These tools work with publicly available news and feed content, not with visitor data. We do not send visitor contact messages, newsletter subscriber information, or analytics records to AI models as part of this editorial process.

Advertising and Third-Party Content

Best Info Lab’s revenue comes from affiliate commissions. We do not currently describe or promise behavioral advertising on this site. If we add display advertising or embedded third-party content, such as videos or social media widgets, those third parties may collect information about your visit. We will update this policy if we introduce advertising or tracking tools that materially change how your information is handled.

Service Providers and Data Sharing

We share information only as needed to run the site and our affiliate model. Recipients may include:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers. The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services infrastructure, which processes website data and server logs on our behalf.
  • Analytics providers, if analytics is active.
  • Email and form providers, to deliver messages and, if applicable, newsletters.
  • Affiliate networks and merchants, when you click through to their sites, as described above.
  • Authorities or advisers, if we are required by law or need to protect our rights, our users, or the security of the site.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers. If the site were ever transferred to another owner, information could be transferred with it, subject to this policy or a notice of change.

International Data Transfers

We operate from Bangladesh, our service providers operate in various countries, and our visitors come from around the world. Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live, including countries whose data protection laws differ from yours.

Where the law requires safeguards for international transfers, we rely on the arrangements our providers make available for that purpose. We choose reputable providers, but we cannot guarantee the location of every system that handles your data.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, such as answering your message, maintaining security, keeping business records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. We do not follow a fixed schedule for every type of record.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details where we reasonably can. Third-party providers keep information according to their own policies. If you would like us to delete correspondence or a subscription record, contact us.

Information Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the site and its data. These include HTTPS encryption, access controls, software updates, and security monitoring appropriate to a small independent website.

No website or system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please take care about what you share with us over the internet.

Visitors’ Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights over your personal information. Those rights vary by place and often include some or all of the following:

  • Asking whether we hold personal information about you and requesting a copy.
  • Asking us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Asking us to delete information.
  • Asking us to limit or stop certain uses of your information, including marketing emails.
  • Objecting to certain processing or withdrawing consent where we rely on it.
  • Complaining to a data protection or consumer authority in your area.

To make a request, contact us at muzahid@bestinfolab.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we may decline requests we cannot lawfully or reasonably fulfill, or explain that the information is held by a third party that we do not control. We will try to respond helpfully and within a reasonable time.

Best Info Lab is operated from Bangladesh, and we take Bangladesh’s data protection law into account. Our site is available worldwide, and we try to handle personal information in line with privacy laws that apply to us. We do not claim to be subject to, or certified under, every privacy law in every country. If a particular law, such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or a US state privacy law, applies to our processing of your information, we will honor the rights it gives you.

Cookie Preferences and Browser Controls

You can control cookies through your browser. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, and some let you browse privately or turn on tracking protections. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the site works. Blocking analytics or third-party cookies will not stop you from reading our content.

You can also use browser-based opt-out tools offered by analytics providers. Controls offered by third parties, such as affiliate networks or merchants, are managed by those parties.

Children’s Privacy

Best Info Lab is written for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or from minors where parental consent is required by law. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

External Links and Third-Party Websites

Our articles link to many outside websites, including software companies, hosting providers, affiliate networks, and news sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Their privacy policies apply once you leave our site.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy as the site, our tools, or the law change. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, add a notice on the site. Please check this page from time to time. Your continued use of the site after an update means you have had the chance to review the revised policy.

For related information, see our Terms of Use, Affiliate Disclosure, and Editorial Policy.
